This incredible picture was captured by Amanda Brewer with a GoPro. She get up close and personal with a female Great White Shark off the coast of Seal Island in Mossel Bay, South Africa. Amanda snapped this photo last summer while interning at White Shark Africa, an eco-tourism and animal conservation organization.
Brewer explains:
“I wasn’t even a little bit frightened. When you’re there and you’re in their presence, it’s not scary. They’re beautiful and graceful, and you can see how intelligent they are.”
